Broan intercom systems were manufactured by M&S Systems.  Distribution ended around 2000.  These systems can be replaced with either M&S, Nutone or Intrasonic.

Broan was founded in 1932 as manufacturer of kitchen ventilation products. Broan is owned by Nortek, a manufacturer of a variety of built-in home appliances. In 1998, Nortek acquired Nutone and merged the two companies to create Broan-Nutone LLC.  Distribution of central vacuum systems in the USA under the Broan brand ended in the mid 2000's.
