The Central Vacuum Remote Control is used to turn your central vacuum unit on and off remotely.   Included in the 3 piece kit is a Key fob remote transmitter, remote receiver and power supply.  The key fob transmitter turns the vacuum unit on/off.  The remote receiver is connected to the vacuum unit's low voltage terminals and an antenna gets run though the house to a central location and provides the signal from the remote control to the receiver.

Central Vac Remote controls can be used for existing construction where there is a need to bypass damaged low voltage wiring.  They are also easy to install in new construction.

    1. Will this work with a NuTone CV-450W? 2. What is the distance that the remote works from teh base?

    A:

    This would work with any central vacuum model.  The remote does not have a set range, but we have installed in a 5,000 sq. ft home and tested from furthest point and worked fine.
