The M&S Retrofit Patio Station is designed for retrofit outdoor use with the DMC3-4 Music/Communication Retrofit System Master. The DMC3RW replaces older intercom room stations that use a 3-wire connection to the master. This patio station mounts in a DMCFRW frame with mounting plate when replacing an old 5" station (for flush mount installation). If it is being installed in a new location or replacing an old surface mount box, this patio station mounts in a DMC1HRWS surface box (sticks out 2-3").
The DMC3RW features a remote scan function that allows you to control the power and volume of the master unit's built-in AM/FM radio, as well as scan auxiliary, CD and radio sources. Other features include talk and listen buttons, an audio input, radio station scan buttons, and volume control. This retrofit patio station communicates with door speakers, room stations and the master station. It also has the ability to activate a door release mechanism or a security system's panic alarm.
