The M&S BD3N Intercom Door Station is compatible with the DMC1 and DMC3-4 Music/Communication Systems. This Door Station is recessed mounted using the ME3 Door Station Rough-in Enclosure or can be Surface mounted using the DS3BXW Surface Mount Housing.

The D3N is a voice communication interface that is mounted adjacent to a primary entry door.  There is no bell button on the door speaker.  The existing doorbell is used to announce the visitor and the built-in speaker allows 2-way voice communication between the visitor and the resident.

    Have a townhouse constructed in 1997, House included an M&S system and it works well except that the front door station is pretty weathered. Overall dimensions of replacement look good. What is the distance between the centers of the two screw holes? The dimensions of the new statiuo

    This door station and a door speaker without a doorbell.  This is a direct replacement of your current door station if it does not have a doorbell.  The approximate distance between the screw holes is 5 1/4".
