The Turbocat Zoom Turbine Powerhead is manufactured by H-P Products and fits all central vacuum brands. It operates without electricity, power cords or batteries for a more convenient vacuuming experience. It has a low profile body and Easy-Glide wheels that are designed to allow the powerhead to be light, responsive and easily maneuverable. This powerhead automatically adjusts according to carpet height, allowing for smooth, easy cleaning. The soft Pro-Tech bumpers protect baseboards and furniture from scratching and scuff marks while in use.
The Turbocat Zoom air-driven powerhead features a Deep Sweep II Brush Roller. This is a unique dual height bristle design in a chevron pattern that allows constant contact of bristle to carpet in order to bring embedded dirt to the surface. The bristles are also crimped. This design allows the short bristles to separate the carpet fibers while the long bristles remove deeper dirt for first-rate cleaning.
This powerhead contains a Silent-Drive Poly-V Belt. This belt is a self-tensioning and non-slip drive belt that reduces vibration, noise and maintenance. This powerhead also features Run-Silent Bearing Isolators. These encase the turbine bearings for quiet performance and hold the turbine firmly in place to reduce vibration.
The Zoom is avaiable in saphhire and platinum.
