The 170445 handle is no longer available.  There is no replacement. The only option is to replace the hose with the 2G Electric Hose.  This hose will be compatible with the existing wand and powerhead.

The 170445 handle assembly is a replacement handle for Beam and Electrolux electric hoses with the D-shaped handle.  It includes the switch.

    Is the switch 3 position: floors, off, and powerhead for carpet? Is it returnable if it does not fit my system? My Central Unit is Beam Serenity, model 2089.

    A:

    The switch is 3 position as you asked.  All items are returnable within 30 days less our shipping cost.  If the picture of the handle is your hose handle, then it is correct.  They only make one kind.  The unit does not have any baring on the hose.

    If the old one is missing, it goes between the end of the hose and the new handle.
